The filter uses a highly effective material based on polyester microfibers. The material is fully synthetic and prevents the spread of microorganisms on the surface of the filter.
The primary function of this filter is to protect against pollutants and ensure clean air. The filter can purify very large volumes of air, removing dust, plant pollen, fungal spores, smoke, quartz dust from technological processes, etc. High-quality Afinia filters remove 99% of airborne pollutants, providing fresh air free of contaminants and allergens.
The material is also characterized by very high absorbency of pollutants and low airflow resistance, which contributes to a long service life. The advantage of the filter is its high efficiency – it captures most particles between 1–10 microns and has an ISO ePM10 filtration class according to the DIN EN ISO 16890 standard.
